Now you aren't limited to one mod per object. some personal recommendations for P1 would be "HD Alex Mercer", "HD New York" combined with "Xethy's2kTexturepack" (This one is on Nexus Mods).įor P2 your options are pretty limited, no fancy retextures for the map only the player and select enemies.And a Vulkan API thing (Helped my performance but I couldn't use Reshade with it) Again same method as before through Texmod.

Now I didn't trust the site just cos its hardly Nexus, SO USE AN AD BLOCKER, I also used a VPN but I'm sure thats a tad overkill, now to get mods you need an account, use a burner e-mail is my suggestion, then get whatever mods you want and run them with Texmod (its like super easy but feel free to ask for help. What you wanna do is actually visit this russain mod site which apparently just has a shit load of things from a HD New York for P1 to Alex the rainbow coloured Mercer. Next you can go to Nexus mods, search steam forums for like 5 skins. First of all get a working Texmod.exe (I can send mine through PMs) I have to say that cos so many mods that hand them out are bricked for some reason. Next is modding, basically all your gonna get is retextures as no mod tools have been released but oh well its better than nothing, I'm sure some of you know about the "Venom" reskins and such and Nexus Mods has a few neat things.

My fav feature is the ability to change time of day, there are around 7 or so used in game but in total around 40 ish states many of them clearly broken, going off of the shadows it seems like it was gonna be a full day-night cycle kinda deal. It's really up to you on how you wanna utilise this so let your imagination go wild. AS ALEX MERCER (Used a reskin for that but still). I've used this tools to completely fuck up the game and its great, from clipping out of lairs to freely explore to map without being nuked or making Mercer's boss fight a shit fest, hell why not consume his ass from the get go.


I will also note that you can spawn in NPCs however its dependant on what mission you just played e.g to spawn a "Goliath" (called "behemoth" in the files) either beat or play a mission that contains one, unfortunatly I havent gotten Mercer to spawn, there are two actually, "Alex_Regular" which you encounter at the start of the game and "Alex_Boss", the former can be spawned however is invisible for me and the latter will crash the game as there can only be one boss Mercer present it seems.

Now to the good stuff, first off a debug tool for Prototype 2, all credit goes to Rick who made this thing usable, unfortunatly a lot of features are broken/missing such as on the PS3 Debug Build there was an option something like "Use Old Jump Style" if memory serves me. I need to state I'm not a developer or programmer or modder (kinda), merely a game enthusiast with a heep of curiosity. It seems like not many people know that things like mods and even a debugging menu for these games exist and honestly I get why, no mod support, terrible port job and not many people willing to spend time working on a pretty niche game.
